There are other ways of living. Ways that seek to share life by cohabiting the space. Ways that prioritise health and savings, putting people and nature at the centre. The “community”, that human group essential for everything: education, care, the local economy and our happiness. Sharing makes us happy, as demonstrated by all the surveys carried out on the subject.
So why not rethink housing? With healthy materials, energy efficiency, renewable energy, integration of biodiversity… With common areas that give space to that community, such as a library, games room, laundry, cafeteria, patio, vegetable garden… infinite possibilities, whatever its members decide collectively, through a democratic cooperative. It is certainly a different process to a traditional real estate development, but it is worth it.
At Ribering we are considering promoting an ecological housing cooperative, on the site next to the coworking space. Thus, to inspire us and take the first step, we have the pleasure of hosting professionals who have designed and built homes of this nature, as well as users of these homes (members of the cooperative):

1. Round table of experiences (18:30-19:20):
- Appetizers: the first eco-social housing cooperative in Madrid. It is made up of a heterogeneous group of people with a common goal: to put into practice other ways of living in the city that do not allow real estate speculation, take into account environmental sustainability and create community.
- Natural District: sAtt's ecological cohousing area, the first B Corp architecture and construction company in Spain. Since 2001, sAtt has designed, built and researched more than 400 ecological, regenerative and sustainable architecture projects in Spain, Germany, Kenya, Nicaragua and Morocco.
